This is just a little treat for each of you “Peetsters” out there…grab a cup of fresh brew and take a look at the Peets facility. They had an open house type tour last Saturday commemorating their founder Alfred Peet. As you will see, he trained the Starbuck’s founders and supplied them with coffee for their first store. “Venti that Starbucksters…. now I have nothing against S-bucks…if I am out in a rural zone and that is all there is…I will have one of their espresso drinks… otherwise… I let my brother go there…he called to tell me that he was customer of the week at Starbucks in downtown SF… and I could only laugh because I was
customer of the week at my favorite SF Peets at the same time !...Can’t we all just get along ?Anyway, there was a large turnout for the event. Besides giving you a tour and a lesson on how it all began, they gave you a pound of coffee on your way out… What a great event ! If you couldn’t make it, here is a brief version for you.
